Class 3 - Introducing 3D Analyst

INTRODUCTION

This week, we will be working entirely on lab work and we'll be introduced to 3D Analyst tonight through several exercises in an ESRI tutorial.

1. Utilize ArcGIS extension 3D Analyst


2. Download local NC elevation based data

ACTIVE LEARNING EXERCISE

1. Begin ESRI 3D Analyst Tutorial - Do the first 3 (or more) exercises
2. Download and utilize NC DEM, SLOPE and CONTOUR data derived from LIDAR -From NCDOT. GET THE DATA HERE!
